An Update About Our Move, Plus a New Giveaway Starting Today!

The last couple weeks have been quite hectic: if you remember this post, Rob and I are moving to Seattle area very soon for his new job, so there has been a lot of planning, talking to moving companies, figuring out how to ship our cars, and of course, packing!

Just as everything was booked, including the moving company, plane tickets, car shipping, etc., we received an important message that we had waited for almost 2 years (it has to do with me being an immigrant) – a message that basically made it necessary for us to be in New Orleans, LA on the day Rob had been scheduled to start his new job in Freeland, WA. After the initial shock, we got everything under control, so instead of heading off to WA on March 31st and then flying back to New Orleans on April 7th, we have postponed our move by a week. Thankfully, the moving company and Rob’s new job were able to accommodate us, so as of right now, it looks like we’ll be loading the truck and shipping our stuff on Sunday, April 6, then driving 2.5 hours to New Orleans, going to our appointment on Monday, and flying to WA on Tuesday. Then the house hunting in WA begins!

All in all, I think this will work out fine because I somehow function better when there’s lots of stress put on me. Packing our house and moving across the country combined with that fateful appointment will definitely be a nice stimulus for me to stop whining about little things and focus on what’s important.

Speaking about dealing with stress…

The Giveaway!

(No, it’s not me trying to give away all of the junk we’re not taking with us to WA :) That stuff was already donated to Goodwill.)

A few weeks ago, I was contacted by Nicole from Sun Chlorella USA, a company that manufactures and distributes all-natural, organic, USDA-approved supplements. Nicole offered me to try out their newest product, Organic Sun Eleuthero tablets that are supposed to help us fight stress and gently elevate our energy levels.

Main picI usually don’t take any supplements other than an occasional B12 pill, but the promise of Organic Sun Eleuthero to help with stress management intrigued me. I did some additional research and found out that eleuthero (Eleutherococcus senticosus in Latin, also sometimes referred to as Siberian ginseng) is a plant that’s been used in traditional Chinese herbal medicine for centuries largely due to its adaptogenic properties, i.e. its ability to help us deal with the changes in the environment and adjust to stress.

You can read more about the eleuthero plant here, and about Organic Sun Eleuthero tablets here. Also, to find out more about the company that manufactures Organic Sun Eleuthero, click here.

Normally, I have plenty of energy to get me through the day thanksSmall pic to my plant-based diet, but sometimes I struggle with some mental fog, especially when I’m stressed. A few weeks into taking the eleuthero supplement, I noticed that my mind was more clear, and that even late at night I still had some energy left to finish up all of the tasks I had for the day.

Here’s where the giveaway comes in: Nicole and Sun Chlorella USA have agreed to send a package of Organic Sun Eleuthero (a $30.81 value) to one lucky winner of this week’s giveaway! Thanks for the information. After two days of working (not normal work) I realized it was mentally exhausting. I then realized that I have fallen asleep with my son at 9p the last two days.
This is great knowledge to have about this product. It could possibly help me when I have work days like these last few days.
