(NOTE: This post originally included 25 recipes, but I have since expanded it to 30 recipes.)

Valentine’s Day is a special time in the vegan blogosphere because every food blogger aims to release a special vegan Valentine’s Day recipe for the world to try.

However, most of the time these recipes tend to be for desserts. Nothing wrong with a good dessert, of course 🙂 but what about those of us trying to put together a whole Valentine’s Day dinner?

This is where my vegan Valentine’s Day recipe roundup comes into play.

In my opinion, any special occasion dinner needs to include at least three courses: an appetizer, a main dish and, of course, dessert. Below you’ll find recipes to fit each of those categories.

Since there’s no shortage of color pink in everything Valentine’s Day-related, I decided to venture beyond this staple color in my recipe selection.

I mean, a splash of pink is lovely in a romantic dinner spread, but I don’t think anyone will complain that there wasn’t enough pink in their dinner if that dinner was utterly delicious.

To me, Italian cuisine is perfect for a romantic vegetarian dinner. I kept this recipe collection mostly Italian-themed for appetizers and main course, give or take a few recipes.

Once we get to desserts, all bets are off: bring on the pink hearts, yummy pastries and, of course, chocolate!

Here’s a video about these vegan Valentine’s Day recipes that I posted on my YouTube channel, Adventures in Vegan Living:

Just a note: not all of the blogs featured below are 100% vegan, but all of the recipes are.
