The Vegan Marathon Challenge is a challenge that I came up with for myself to prove that a newly vegan runner can successfully train and complete a marathon while following a plant-powered diet. It’s been done before by numerous professional and recreational athletes, so I’m proud to be next in this lineup! #veganmarathonchallenge
Pensacola Marathon 2013: Below is a list of my posts that document every week of my vegan marathon training. This is going to be my second marathon, but it’s my first since I switched to a vegan diet. I started (loosely) following a 16-week training plan in the middle of July 2013, and my marathon is scheduled for November 10, 2013, in Pensacola, Fla. Here’s a link to the Pensacola Marathon site.
